These places require medical grade distilled water filters because the distilled water is used to treat wounds and to wash surgical cuts. Since sensitive body parts are exposed in the open and they are soaked in blood, the internal organs and the skin needs to be washed and cleaned using pure water. This cannot be done with distilled water from water distillers for home or commercial use and the hospitals use special medical grade water filters.
